If you want to immerse yourself in the pinball community from the comfort of your own home, there are streams and channels aplenty for you to enjoy. Whether they are tutorials, individual streamers, or streams that focus on events and tournaments, there are tons of options available.
Tutorials:
Abe Flips – Especially when you’re first getting started, Abe Flips is a must. This channel focuses specifically on ball control: aiming, passing, and so on. There are also specific game tutorials and recordings of live streams as well.
PAPA Pinball – Even though PAPA doesn’t officially exist anymore, the content that Bowen Kearns has on YouTube is still incredibly helpful. Old games, mid games, and even new games are broken down piece by piece so you can understand how they function and what the best tournament strategy is.
Buffalo Pinball – Buffalo Pinball’s YouTube channels focuses on game tutorials under their “Bro, do you even pinball?” series. They also have a “Bro, do you even talk pinball?” podcast where they discuss news and happenings in the pinball community.
RayDayPinball – Raymond Davidson is not only a world ranked player, but he’s a great teacher as well. He does full tutorials as well as “baby’s first” tutorials for when you need a quick walk through.
Individual Streamers:
Hot Nudge – Hot Nudge consists of the world ranked women’s players: Anna, Jane, and Rebecca. They love pinball and have a wealth of pinball knowledge. These world ranked players stream themselves playing various games as well as the occasional event.
Dalton Pinball – Dalton Ely, out of Georgia, is consistently one of the highest ranked players in the world. This former North American Champion casually streams from his home, as well as different local arcades. Come join in on the fun!
Laser_Los – Carlos Delaserda seemingly never sleeps. When he’s not competing in high level tournaments featured on other channels, he’s probably streaming on Twitch. While his streams aren’t just for pinball, they do heavily feature him playing a variety of games.
Deadflip – Deadflip, also known as Jack Danger, has been streaming for awhile. His stream is always a ton of fun, and he shares his knowledge and advice along the way. If you want to see some insane games, check out his videos.
Events and Tournaments:
Backhand Pinball – Based out of Boston, Backhand covers regional tournaments and events in the area. Everything from local tournaments, event finals, and even WNACS and WWC has been streamed by this channel.
Fox Cities Pinball – FoxCities may be based out of Wisconsin, but Tom’s streaming coverage is seemingly limitless. FoxCities has streamed nationals at District 82, the revived PAPA championship in Chicago, Yegpin up in Canada, and even more. If you want to see some of the world’s best players duke it out, give this channel a follow.
IE Pinball – INDiSC, Pinburgh, individual streams and more, Carl does a great job of covering it all. You might even hear from a guest or two when is streaming individual games.
Ypsi Pinball – Based in Michigan, Ypsi streams casually most Thursdays and events and tournaments most weekends. Local tournaments and larger events like Pinball at the Zoo are all covered by Ypsi.
This is by no means a comprehensive list. There are tons of streamers and channels to follow if you want to learn how to play a game, watch someone conquer a game, or rot on your couch for a weekend while you watch the highest ranked players in the world duke it out.
